Our guarantee: we guarantee that you will receive live and healthy butterflies for any butterfly order of any quantity and delivery location. On the rare occasion that some or all do not survive, you may take a picture of the deceased butterflies with a count and email this to us for a refund. This MUST be done within 7 DAYS of the event for a refund.

For your benefit, we offer a bad weather exclusion to the cancellation policy shown below. If the weather is either too cold or too rainy for a successful butterfly release, you may cancel up to 4 days prior to your event and receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. This warranty covers up to the value of 8 dozen butterflies. Orders larger than 8 dozen will be refunded the maximum warranty value of 8 dozen. Important note: no full refunds are given for late deliveries. However, if you are unable to use the butterflies at your event due to a non-delivery, we will offer a courtesy refund of 50% of the cost of the butterflies plus shipping. We must be notified within 7 days after the event for this refund and we will verify with FedEx that no delivery was attempted prior to the event. No refunds given for recipient unavailability.

It is very important that you track your package and are aware of the delivery date & approximate time. Butterflies are normally scheduled to arrive the day before the event, unless it is a Monday or Tuesday event. The main cause of butterfly casualties is extreme heat. If the package is left on a door step all day long in direct sunlight, your butterflies might not survive. Our guarantee is void for recipient unavailability.

When your butterflies are shipped off, you will receive a shipping confirmation where you can track your package. After the package is picked up by FedEx, you will be able to track it and get an approximate delivery time. Generally, butterflies arrive before noon. However, in some rural areas the delivery might not be made until later in the afternoon.

Live Butterfly Shipping Information: For most event dates, your butterflies will arrive the day before the event via FedEx Priority Overnight delivery. For Sunday and Monday events, your package will arrive on Saturday and FedEx charges an additional $15.00 for Saturday deliveries. If the event is a Tuesday, or the day after a major holiday, a same day delivery may be necessary. Please see the rate table below for estimated shipping charges:
